TACTICAL WEAPON DESIGNS BY KIT RAE
Outside of the Kit Rae Fantasy Art brand, Kit has designed numerous knives, weapons, and tools for various companies, mostly in the tactical and sporting catgories, and he supervised the replicas for many licensed film and video game weapons. After constant inquiries about these items we started sort of a scrapbook list. The Brands Kit has designed for include Honshu, M48 Kommando, United Cutlery, Combat Commander, Black Ronin, Tailwind, Rigid Knives, Colt, Harley-Davidson, Stanley, Remington, Gil Hibben, among others, going way back early in his career. It is by no means complete, but most of his designs are listed, to the best of our memories. The list goes back to approximately 1985 when Kit first started in the knife business. M48 KOMMANDO
UC2765 M48 Hawk Tactical Tomahawk - My tactical Tomahawk design, and the first product in the M48 line, United Cutlery's bold change in direction into the high quality tactical market. I am very pleased with the prodcut and the high manufacturing quality that United Cutlery turned out. Simply, this is every function I wanted to have in a sport/camp/defense Tomahawk design, designed after several years of research and use, and made in precisley with the materials I specified. The sheath is the only area that could have used some improvement. This originated around the time I was working on the Harley-Davidson knife/axe combo, which was basically an improved version of my Colt knife/axe combo, but it remained in limbo until the current owners of United wanted to do a proper Tomahawk. It is mind boggling how successful this product has been with the general public and military, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews.
